Adult Leader Uniform
Leaders Please Note: When ordering a leaders uniform please include the leaders name and scout number. We are unable to process orders unless the leader is cleared in "MYSCOUT".
Shirt: Choose from Polo OR Button-up version. Button-up version is generally considered "smarter".
Scarfe: Many Scout Groups have their own Group scarfe. Check to see if you need to purchase a scarfe or whether this will be supplied by your Group.
Woggle: You will need the brown leather woggle (white for Sea Scouts).
Pants: Scout Groups may choose their own trousers style and colour. You should check with your Leader to find out what trousers are required at your Scout Group. If the answer is "the standard Scout pants from the Scout Shop" then these are the ones! In South Australia, by ruling from the Chief Commissioner, these stone coloured pants are considered correct uniform for all adults at official or state events.
As a general rule, if you are serving at District or Branch level, these are the trousers to wear.
Belt: If the pants worn in your Scout Group require a belt, then the official Scout Belt is to be worn.
Hat: A wide brim hat is required for outdoor activities, so the purchase of a bucket hat or surf hat is recommended. Being unsuitable for sun protection, the "peak cap" is not generally recommended.
Fleece Jacket: This is not an essential or required uniform item. Call it a "nice to have".
