Doing Business with the Scout Outdoor Centre
The Scout Outdoor Centre has been around for a long, long time and has built a reputation for quality products, quality advice and outstanding customer care. Even though you are on a computer rather than in our store, we want you to enjoy the same pleasure of purchase as our personal shoppers. Our Quality Guarantee and Satisfaction Guarantee mean that you can rest easy as you shop in the comfort of your own home.

Under normal circumstances your order will be dispatched within a few days. Items not immediately available from stock will be ordered for you from the Australian warehouses and you will be advised of the expected date of dispatch. If for any reason we are unable to ship an item within 28 days, the Scout Outdoor Centre will contact you to offer a refund or alternate product.

Devising a way of calculating fair shipping charges is a major challenge! A few badges in an envelope doesn't cost much to post but a $39 hydrapack will cost a lot more! Nevertheless, we don't want to charge unnecessarily high shipping charges on small orders. Here is the calculation model we have adopted:
Delivery within Australia
The Scout Outdoor Centre does not accept international orders.
If you place an order before 12:00PM CST and the products you have ordered are in stock we will dispatch your order on the same day - guaranteed!
The Scout Outdoor Centre is committed to providing quality products to our customers.
Our Quality Control Team inspect every delivery into the Scout Outdoor Centre to ensure that the products you receive meet our high quality standards. However if you do receive a product which is faulty please don't hesitate to call us on 08 8223 5544, to arrange free return delivery and an exchange, repair or refund. Should a fault appear after a garment has been worn, it will be required that you launder it prior to returning it to us.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product (perhaps you have changed you mind or it is the incorrect size), you may return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
The item must not have been used or worn, be in original condition and in original packaging with all labels and tags attached.
Your postage charges on returns are not refundable and you will be charged for delivery of any exchange merchandise.
All products sold by the Scout Outdoor Centre are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranties are of varying length, although usually for one year. If you wish to return an item that you believe is faulty, it may be necessary for the item to be returned to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair. We recommend that in the first instance you contact us by telephone or email and describe the problem so that we can advise the best course of action.
